In Tuesday's league test, the visiting Holy Name Green Wave lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-5 victory over the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish.

The Green Wave now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northview for a Region 5 test on Friday, April 5.

In their next game, the Fighting Irish face the West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH) in a Region 6 test, on Wednesday, April 3. St. Vincent-St. Mary will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Wolverines come into the test with a 0-4 record after their 5-4 league loss to Orange (Pepper Pike, OH).
