In Tuesday's league match, the visiting North Stanly Comets basketball team scored a decisive 72-48 triumph over the East Montgomery Eagles.

In their next game, the Comets meet the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 3. North Stanly will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.
