The Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Grant Park Dragons to 35 in the Fightin' Irish non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Fightin' Irish now sport a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westmont for a Metro Suburban contest on Friday, February 4. Bishop McNamara will meet a Sentinels team coming off a 37-31 non-league loss to Peotone (Peotone, IL). The Sentinels record now stands at 8-15.

The Dragons (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against Momence (Momence, IL). The Momence Athletics enter the River Valley contest with a 20-2 record. In their last contest, Momence triumphed over Donovan (Donovan, IL), 61-33, in a league contest.
