Nebraska High School Basketball - Bellevue West overwhelms Bellevue East
January 20, 2017: Bellevue, NE 68005 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE) and the host Bellevue East Chieftains (Bellevue, NE), saw Bellevue West's basketball squad wallop Bellevue East by a tally of 50-24.
With the victory, Bellevue West improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Omaha Central (Omaha, NE) to confront the Eagles in a A District TBD challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-13. Omaha Central lost 53-38 in their recent league challenge against Benson (Omaha, NE)
Next up, the Chieftains confront the Marian Crusaders (Omaha, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Bellevue East will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 62-57 league loss to Omaha South (Omaha, NE).
