Illinois High School Football - Lyons knocked off by New Trier
August 30, 2019: Winnetka, IL 60093 New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL), 20-10 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, New Trier improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trevians travel to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL) to battle the Ramblers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Ramblers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Loyola Academy lost 27-10 in their recent non-league test against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH)
With the loss, Lyons drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Proviso East (Maywood, IL) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 1-0. Proviso East won 37-6 in their recent non-league test against North Chicago (North Chicago, IL)
