Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) and the visiting Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), saw Capital's basketball squad overcome Taos by a tally of 44-28.

With the victory, Capital improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Grants (Grants, NM) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 7. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Tigers play the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 3. Taos will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
