The Edinburg North Cougars basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Pioneer Diamondbacks to 51 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alexander for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 25.

The Diamondbacks (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
