January 23, 2019: Telluride, CO 81435 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Telluride Miners (Telluride, CO) and the visiting Ridgway Demons (Ridgway, CO), saw Telluride's basketball squad overcome Ridgway by a tally of 57-44.
With the victory, Telluride improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Dove Creek (Dove Creek, CO) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A District 1 challenge on Friday, January 25. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Dove Creek lost 55-51 in their recent league challenge against Norwood (Norwood, CO)
Next up, the Demons confront the Ignacio Bobcats (Ignacio, CO) in a 2A District 3 challenge, on Friday, February 1. Ridgway will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 57-53 league win over Telluride (Telluride, CO).
