In Saturday's league contest, the Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) lacrosse squad routed the visiting North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights (Raleigh, NC), by a count of 11-4.

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 6. Cannon will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Furies come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 12-7 league loss to SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC).

The Knights now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christ School for a non-league contest on Monday, March 5.
