In Friday's league game, the Brattleboro Colonels (Brattleboro, VT) football team were victorious over the visiting Colchester Lakers (Colchester, VT), by a score of 35-14.

The Colonels (3-2) will now prepare for their game against ConVal (Peterborough, NH). The Cougars come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, ConVal was knocked off by Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH), 16-14, in a league game.

The Lakers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Champlain Valley Union for a Division I game on Friday, October 2. Colchester will meet a Red Hawk team coming off a 49-13 league win over St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT). The Red Hawk record now stands at 3-2.
