In Wednesday's league match, the host Piedmont Hills Pirates basketball team scored a decisive 77-36 triumph over the Leland Chargers.

In their next game, the Pirates meet the Willow Glen Rams (San Jose, CA) in a Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton match, on Friday, January 12. Piedmont Hills will attempt to better on its 12-1 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 10-3 record after their 41-38 league win over Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA).
