Dumont Huskies (Dumont, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Dumont upgrades its record to 16-11 on the season. The Huskies travel to Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ) to battle the Cowboys in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 28. The Cowboys come into the test with a record of 19-2. Pascack Hills won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Newton (Newton, NJ)

With the defeat, Lenape Valley falls to 9-7 on the season.
