Colorado High School Basketball - De Beque holds off Hotchkiss
January 13, 2018: De Beque, CO 81630 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the De Beque Dragons (De Beque, CO) and the visiting Hotchkiss Bulldogs (Hotchkiss, CO), saw De Beque's basketball squad hold off Hotchkiss by a tally of 44-40.
With the victory, De Beque improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Rangely (Rangely, CO) to confront the Panthers in a 2A District 5 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Rangely lost 42-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Paonia Eagles (Paonia, CO) in a 2A District 5 challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Hotchkiss will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 39-19 league win over Hayden (Hayden, CO).
