Alaska High School Basketball - Tanalian can't hold off Klawock
March 17, 2022: Port Alsworth, AK 99653 The Klawock Chieftains basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Tanalian Lynx to 31 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Chieftains now sport a 22-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lumen Christi for a non-league contest on Friday, March 18. Klawock will battle a Archangels team coming off a 57-28 non-league win over Shaktoolik (Shaktoolik, AK). The Archangels record now stands at 17-5.
The Lynx (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Shaktoolik (Shaktoolik, AK). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Shaktoolik was nudged by Lumen Christi (Anchorage, AK), 57-28, in a non-league contest.
