Delaware High School Baseball - William Penn gets by St. Elizabeth
May 9, 2019: Wilmington, DE 19805 William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host St. Elizabeth Vikings (Wilmington, DE), 5-2 in a non-league game.
The Colonials (10-6) will now prepare for their game against Newark (Newark, DE). The Yellowjackets go into the Blue Hen Flight - A game with a 2-13 record. In their last game, Newark tipped Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE), 2-1, in a non-league game.
The Vikings (4-11) will now prepare for their game against Brandywine (Wilmington, DE). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 8-6 record. In their last game, Brandywine tipped Tatnall (Wilmington, DE), 13-3, in a non-league game.
