California High School Basketball - Mira Costa fells North
December 21, 2018: Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Saxons (Torrance, CA), 75-61 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mira Costa upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Crenshaw (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 26. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Crenshaw lost 42-39 in their recent non-league bout against King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Saxons play the Montebello Oilers (Montebello, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 26. North will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Oilers go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 50-49 non-league win over Whittier (Whittier, CA).
