Mississippi High School Basketball - Tishomingo County overwhelms New Albany
December 7, 2018: New Albany, MS 38652 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) and the host New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, MS), saw Tishomingo County's basketball squad wallop New Albany by a tally of 54-33.
With the victory, Tishomingo County improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS) to confront the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 11. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Hickory Flat won 53-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 11. New Albany will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 76-45 non-league loss to Pine Grove (Ripley, MS).
