The Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ) basketball knocked off the visiting Combs Coyotes (San Tan Valley, AZ), 50-33 in Friday's non-league test.

The Tigers (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Douglas (Douglas, AZ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Douglas notched a victory over Morenci (Morenci, AZ), 61-36, in a non-league test.

The Coyotes now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Glendale Prep Academy for a non-league test on Friday, January 4. Combs will encounter a Griffins squad coming off a 57-15 non-league win over Superior (Superior, AZ). The Griffins record now stands at 9-4.
