October 19, 2019: Clarks Summit, PA 18411 The West Scranton Invaders football team (Scranton, PA), was knocked off 19-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA)
The Comets (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Buckhorns come into the Lackawanna 1 challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Wallenpaupack Area was knocked off by Hazleton (Hazleton, PA), 28-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Invaders now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Honesdale for a Lackawanna 2 challenge on Friday, October 25. West Scranton will meet a Hornets team coming off a 40-7 non-league loss to North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-8.
