California High School Basketball - Hayward overwhelms Lincoln
December 29, 2018: Hayward, CA 94541 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hayward Farmers (Hayward, CA) and the visiting Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA), saw Hayward's basketball squad wallop Lincoln by a tally of 71-33.
With the victory, Hayward improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Farmers host Alhambra (Martinez, CA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 5. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-5.
Next up, the Lions confront the James Lick Comets (San Jose, CA) in a Blossom Valley - West Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 2. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 90-42 non-league loss to Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA).
