The Lafayette Commodores basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Ripley Tigers to 49 in the Commodores non-league victory on Thursday.

The Commodores now sport a 24-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grenada for a 5A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, February 12. Lafayette will battle a Chargers team coming off a 62-50 non-league win over Byhalia (Byhalia, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 7-16.
