Texas High School Basketball - Saginaw tops Braswell
December 14, 2018: Little Elm, TX 76227 Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX), 56-45 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Saginaw upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Rough Riders host Grapevine (Grapevine, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, December 18. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 14-3. Grapevine won 64-57 in their recent non-league bout against Burleson (Burleson, TX)
Next up, the Bengals play the Lake Dallas Falcons (Corinth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, December 18. Braswell will attempt to upgrade on its 16-1 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 73-71 non-league loss to Turner (Carrollton, TX).
