Minneota Vikings (Minneota, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Canby Lancers (Canby, MN), 79-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Minneota upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN) to play the Knights in a Camden - South bout on Thursday, December 20. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton won 43-40 in their recent league bout against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (Tracy, MN)

Next up, the Lancers play the West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 22. Canby will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 86-62 league win over Wheaton/Herman-Norcross (Wheaton, MN).
