The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Aragon Dons (San Mateo, CA) and the visiting San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA), saw Aragon's softball squad nip San Mateo by a count of 7-5.

The Dons now sport a 21-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Watsonville for a non-league match on Saturday, May 25. Aragon will face a Wildcatz squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over San Benito (Hollister, CA). The Wildcatz record now stands at 23-4.

With the loss, San Mateo falls to 17-6 on the campaign.
