Texas High School Basketball - Riverside tops Del Valle
January 18, 2019: El Paso, TX 79907 Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX), 52-42 in a league bout.
With the victory, Riverside upgrades its record to 15-12 on the campaign. The Rangers host El Dorado (El Paso, TX) to play the Aztecs in a 5A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 22. The Aztecs come into the bout with a record of 14-12. El Dorado won 38-35 in their recent league bout against Bel Air (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Conquistadores play the Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 22. Del Valle will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Scorpions come into the bout with a 10-15 record after their 72-32 league loss to Eastlake (El Paso, TX).
