Ohio High School Volleyball - Northview routed by Notre Dame Academy
October 25, 2018: Toledo, OH 43623 The Notre Dame Academy Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Northview Wildcats to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now have a 16-9 record.
Match Summary
NAPOLEON - Northview was on a quest to win only their second District Championship in the 42 year history of the volleyball program, however, they fell short to Notre Dame Academy. This was only fifth time that a Northview program has been in the District final (1992, 1994, 1997 and 2003).
Leading in the District Finals match, was junior McKenna Hall with 9 kills and 13 digs. Also leading on the offensive end was Hannah Frame with a team high 11 kills, and Junior, Bri Syroka, with 4 kills on 6 attempts hitting .667. Defensively, libero Morgan Brixey lead Northview with 14 digs. Sophomore setter, Clare Kwiatkowski, led Northview with 31 assists.
This 2018 Northview team finishing as District Runner-up, third place in the NLL, with a overall record of 17-8, one of the best in school history.
