Maryland High School Football - Friendship Collegiate Academy succumbs to DeMatha

October 4, 2019: Hyattsville, MD 20781

The DeMatha Stags thwarted the visiting Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights football team by a count of 17-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, DeMatha upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Stags travel to Gonzaga (Washington, DC) to encounter the Eagles in a Washington Catholic - Capital outing on Saturday, October 19. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 6-0.

With the loss, Friendship Collegiate Academy moves to 3-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD) to encounter the Crusader in a non-league outing on Friday, October 11. The Crusader go into the outing with a record of 1-6. Riverdale Baptist lost 35-0 in their recent non-league outing against Bullis (Potomac, MD)
