The Kankakee Valley Kougars basketball team (Wheatfield, IN), was toppled 44-35 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN)

The Mustangs now possess a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benton Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 19. Munster will confront a Bison team coming off a 38-36 league loss to Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, IN). The Bison record now stands at 8-3.

The Kougars (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 13-1 record. In their last battle, Crown Point beat Merrillville (Merrillville, IN), 69-39, in a league battle.
