The Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) basketball felled the visiting McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), 65-53 in Monday's league test.

The Chargers (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Wolverines go into the Southern Maryland test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Westlake thwarted Stone (Waldorf, MD), 54-42, in a league test.

The Rams now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Stone for a Southern Maryland test on Wednesday, February 7. McDonough will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 87-60 non-league win over Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 13-5.
