Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Charlotte Thunder Thunder (Matthews, NC) and the visiting Arborbrook Christian Academy Falcons (Matthews, NC), saw South Charlotte Thunder's basketball squad wallop Arborbrook Christian Academy by a tally of 96-67.

With the victory, South Charlotte Thunder improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Lake Pointe Academy (York, SC) to confront the Mariners in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 11. The Mariners come into the challenge with a record of 0-8.

Next up, the Falcons confront the SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 8. Arborbrook Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record.
