The Boyertown Bears basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Norristown Eagles to 45 in the Bears league triumph on Saturday.

The Bears now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Methacton for a Pioneer contest on Tuesday, January 8. Boyertown will battle a Warriors team coming off a 46-35 league loss to Owen J. Roberts (Pottstown, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-3.

The Eagles (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Spring-Ford (Royersford, PA). The Rams enter the Pioneer contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Spring-Ford ran past Perkiomen Valley (Collegeville, PA), 58-33, in a league contest.
