In Friday's league game, the Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) football team tipped the visiting Bellmont Braves (Decatur, IN), by a score of 38-35.

The Spartans (4-1) will now prepare for their game against DeKalb (Waterloo, IN). The Barons come into the Northeast Hoosier game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, DeKalb got by Columbia City (Columbia City, IN), 33-29, in a league game.
