The Independence Eagles walloped the visiting Centennial Cougars football team by a count of 56-15 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Independence upgrades its record to 14-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Sevier County (Sevierville, TN) to encounter the Smoky Bears in a non-league outing on Friday, December 4. The Smoky Bears go into the outing with a record of 12-2. Sevier County won 42-28 in their recent non-league outing against Rhea County (Evensville, TN)

With the loss, Centennial moves to 12-2 on the season.
