The Hazleton Cougars routed the visiting Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans softball squad by a final score of 11-1 in Thursday's league battle.

The Cougars (11-0) will now prepare for their battle against Minersville (Minersville, PA). The Battlin' Miners go into the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Minersville topped Shenandoah Valley (Shenandoah, PA), 10-0, in a league battle.
