Hope Bobcats (Hope, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Prescott Curley Wolves (Prescott, AR), 13-11 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mena for a 4A-7 challenge on Friday, April 5. Hope will battle a Bearcats/Ladycats squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Arkadelphia (Arkadelphia, AR). The Bearcats/Ladycats record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Prescott falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Curley wolves travel to Bismarck (Bismarck, AR) to battle the Lions in a 3A-7 challenge on Monday, April 8. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 6-7. Bismarck lost 10-9 in their recent league challenge against Centerpoint (Amity, AR)
