Indiana High School Softball - Jimtown holds off Tippecanoe Valley

Spectators at Saturday's non-league game between the Jimtown Jimmies (Elkhart, IN) and the visiting Tippecanoe Valley Vikings (Akron, IN), observed Jimtown's softball team edge Tippecanoe Valley by a score of 2-0.

With the triumph, Jimtown improves its record to 10-10 on the year. The Jimmies travel to LaVille (Lakeville, IN) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 19. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 9-12.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Central Noble Cougars (Albion, IN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 15. Tippecanoe Valley will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 12-5 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Columbia City (Columbia City, IN).
