The Centennial Cougars basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Anoka Tornadoes to 29 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maple Grove for a Northwest Suburban 2 contest on Monday, February 11.

The Tornadoes (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 14-10 record. In their last contest, Providence Academy was routed by Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN), 57-47, in a league contest.
