Corydon Central Panthers (Corydon, IN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Eastern Musketeers (Pekin, IN), 57-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Corydon Central upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Eastern (Pekin, IN) to play the Musketeers in a Mid-Southern bout on Thursday, January 6. The Musketeers go into the bout with a record of 9-5.

Next up, the Musketeers play the Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 3. Eastern will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Olympians go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 76-59 non-league loss to Zionsville (Zionsville, IN).
