The Almont Raiders softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Dryden Cardinals to 1 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Almont moves its record to 21-6 on the year. The Raiders travel to Richmond (Richmond, MI) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Blue Water Area game on Tuesday, May 17. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 3-1.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Kingston Cardinals (Kingston, MI) in a North Central Thumb game, on Monday, May 16. Dryden will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
