Sussex Central Tigers (Sussex, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech (Petersburg, VA), 43-11 in a league bout.

With the win, Sussex Central upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Windsor (Windsor, VA) to clash with the Dukes in a Tri-Rivers bout on Friday, February 1. The Dukes go into the bout with a record of 0-14. Windsor lost 81-39 in their recent league bout against Greensville County (Emporia, VA)

Next up, the clash with the Greensville County Eagles (Emporia, VA) in a Tri-Rivers bout, on Thursday, January 31. Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 81-39 league win over Windsor (Windsor, VA).
