The Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), 58-19 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Redhawks (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Warriors go into the Southern Carolina 3A test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Weddington walloped Parkwood (Monroe, NC), 53-39, in a league test.
