West Virginia High School Football - Wheeling Central Catholic knocked off by Parkersburg
September 11, 2020: Parkersburg, WV 26101 Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team beat the visiting Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV), 38-21 in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Big Reds face the Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 18. Parkersburg will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 24-20 non-league win over Athens (The Plains, OH).
