March 28, 2019: Wilmington, NC 28412 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting St. Mary's (Raleigh, NC), saw Cape Fear Academy's soccer squad get by St. Mary's by a count of 2-1.
The Hurricanes now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Asheville Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, April 5.
With the loss, St. Mary's drops to 1-3 on the season. The travel to Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC) to meet the Phoenix in a Central Tar Heel 1A test on Friday, March 29. The Phoenix come into the test with a record of 7-1. Raleigh Charter won 10-1 in their recent league test against River Mill Academy (Graham, NC)
