Nevada High School Softball - Churchill County bounces Sparks

April 13, 2019: Sparks, NV 89431

The Churchill County Greenwave routed the host Sparks Railroaders softball squad by a final score of 13-2 in Saturday's league battle.

The Greenwave (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Buckaroos go into the 3A- Northern battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Lowry notched a victory over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 11-0, in a league battle.

The Railroaders now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Fernley for a 3A- Northern battle on Tuesday, April 16. Sparks will confront a Vaqueros squad coming off a 20-4 league win over Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 12-5.
