California High School Baseball - Lawndale loses to Peninsula
April 6, 2019: Lawndale, CA 90260 The Peninsula Panthers crushed the host Lawndale Cardinals baseball team by a count of 9-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 8-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centennial for a Bay bout on Wednesday, April 10. Peninsula will face a Apaches team coming off a 19-5 non-league win over King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA). The Apaches record now stands at 9-8.
Next, the Cardinals face the Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) in a Ocean bout, on Tuesday, April 9. Lawndale will attempt to move on its 5-14 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 9-11 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Torrance (Torrance, CA).
