Indiana High School Softball - Prairie Heights knocked off by Bremen
May 22, 2019: Bremen, IN 46506 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Bremen Lions (Bremen, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Prairie Heights Panthers (LaGrange, IN), by a margin of 10-0.
With the triumph, Bremen moves its record to 24-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Central Noble (Albion, IN) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Friday, May 24. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 21-3. Central Noble won 12-0 in their recent non-league contest against Westview (Topeka, IN)
Game Summary
Kaelyn Shively tossed a perfect game from the circle fanning 8 en route to the 10-0 five inning victory. At the plate Shively helped herself with a double and a 2-Run Home Run scoring Caitlin Traxler who beat out an infield single in the bottom of the 4th. The Lions hung crooked #s scoring 3 runs in the 1st,, 2 in the 2nd, and 5 in the 4th frame as Erin Coffel hit her 15th home run of the year after Gretchen Willis and Rylee Hershberger opened the inning with back to back singles.
