Indiana High School Basketball - Bethany Christian overwhelms Smith Academy
January 11, 2019: Fort Wayne, IN Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bethany Christian Bruins (Goshen, IN) and the host Smith Academy (Fort Wayne, IN), saw Bethany Christian's basketball squad wallop Smith Academy by a tally of 53-20.
With the victory, Bethany Christian improves its record to 2-10 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Clinton Christian (Goshen, IN) to confront the Couriers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 17. The Couriers come into the challenge with a record of 8-4.
Next up, the confront the Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles (Cambridge City, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 12. Smith Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 68-51 league win over Tri (Straughn, IN).
