The Broad Run Spartans football team (Ashburn, VA), was tipped 20-15 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA)

The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Park View (Sterling, VA). The Patriots go into the AA Dulles test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Park View was edged by Liberty (Bealeton, VA), 28-0, in a non-league test.

With the loss, Broad Run moves to 1-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league test on Friday, September 7. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 1-0. Woodbridge won 27-7 in their recent non-league test against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA)
