Bishop Miege Stags (Shawnee Mission, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Aquinas Saints (Overland Park, KS), 50-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Bishop Miege upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Stags travel to Central (Kansas City, MO) to encounter the Blue Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 5. The Blue Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Central lost 61-55 in their recent league bout against Westport (Kansas City, MO)

Next up, the Saints encounter the Blue Valley Tigers (Stilwell, KS) in a Eastern Kansas bout, on Friday, February 6. Aquinas will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 64-60 league loss to Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS).
