In Wednesday's non-league match, the host E.A. Laney Buccaneers basketball team scored a decisive 87-48 triumph over the Jacksonville Cardinals.

In their next game, the Buccaneers meet the Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 8. E.A. Laney will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 61-43 non-league loss to E.A. Laney (Wilmington, NC).
